great post! you had me laughing out loud.

OMG!!! our children must have the same teachers or else all teachers these days have been cloned.

i love the request for supplies...i'm with you...which friggin ones do you need??? and disorganization? can we talk elementary school please? the very definition of disorganization is elementary school children. they are children for crying out loud! with all the homework they get and their massive binders full of folders and notes and such, it's a miracle they get home with what they need at the end of each school day.

oh my!

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate teachers and all their hard work and dedication. But whenever I meet with one, I feel like they are on their own remote planet and out of touch with reality. I can't explain why, exactly....

My favorite bit of feedback from teachers, which I heard a year or so ago: "He just doesn't seem to enjoy school."

Uh... seriously? What kid does?
